B+ Brass, known for their ‘sufficiently above-average’ performance quality, began as an effort spearheaded by trumpet players Kevan Ahlquist and Raoul Shah. As recent college graduates and former members of the University of Minnesota Marching Band, their goal was simple; they wished to further their passion for performing while maintaining their day jobs.

The group has turned into something special, regularly performing for crowds of all sizes at venues across the Twin Cities. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Youngblood Brass Band and Lucky Chops, B+ Brass offers refreshing takes on many of the songs you know and love. Their dynamic sound and style make them the perfect band for any event and venue.
